GUARANTEE OF QUALITY

The goods are inspected before each shipment to ensure quality. However, it is possible that an item is defective. According to the law, you have 30 days to return the goods.

Canada-k9.ca will accept the return of merchandise free of charge if you are not completely satisfied with an item, or if your order has been damaged in transit. Please notify us within 10 days of receipt of your order, after 10 days of receipt the return of merchandise will be made at the customer’s expense. 

You must first contact us by email within 3 days. of receiving the goods. Please note that you will need to provide us with the order number and proof of payment in order for your return to be processed quickly.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

Canada-k9.ca offers two payment methods.

Interac transfers from your banking institution directly to Canada-k9.ca as a supplier, without sharing your personal information with a third party. Once you select this method of payment, an email will be sent to you with the information to be included in your transfer.
The processing is immediate and secure, with no fees or charges on any side.

PayPal services, you are not required to create a PayPal account to pay for your purchases, you can make your payments using a credit card on the PayPal website.
PayPal service fee is 2.7% + $0.30 payable on the total order.

Transaction processing times vary depending on the payment method and financial institution chosen. You will receive a copy of your order at the email address you provide and a confirmation of payment.

The products offered are sold on the basis of the information provided in the Canada-k9 online shop. All prices are in Canadian dollars. They do not include federal or provincial taxes depending on the customer’s province of residence. Note that they are subject to change without notice.

PROCESSING, DELIVERY AND SHIPPING CHARGES

Regular order processing time is 3 to 5 business days, during peak periods this period can vary from 10 to 15 business days. Processing times may vary depending on the day the order is received, the method of payment used in PayPal, available stocks and the carrier.

In order to maintain excellence in our services, a 2% handling fee will be charged as of July 16, 2021 for all orders under $150.00.

Delivery will be made by Canada Post
if no one is present at the time of delivery, the package will be dropped off at the nearest postal outlet. Or according to the provisions adopted by Canada Post in its internal policies, Canada-k9.ca has no responsibility for the processing decisions or delivery policy of Canada Post.

Canada-k9.ca in collaboration with Canada Post offers four delivery options: Standard, Expedited, Xpresspost and Priority. The costs will be visible on the screen, you can make your choice before checkout.

Delivery times are the sole responsibility of Canada Post. The approximate standard delivery time is 3 to 5 business days within Canada. A tracking number will be sent to the email address provided so that you can follow the delivery process.

Shipping charges are calculated according to Canada Post rates, using your full address including your postal code provided at the time you placed your order. Taxes related to Canada Post services are added to the total order.

RETURN POLICY

If the items delivered have obvious defects in materials or workmanship, including possible shipping damage, Canada-k9.ca will accept returns free of charge if you are not completely satisfied with an item, or if your order was damaged in transit. Contact us using the « “order confirmation” email you received within minutes of completing your order so that we can send you the labels that will allow you to make your return free of charge.

Notify us within 3 days of receiving your order, after 10 days of receiving your order the return will be made at the customer’s expense.

Please help us serve you better by identifying your shipment, e.g. reuse the delivery note or a copy of your order confirmation. Packages without identification will be placed on hold for claims.

A credit note will be issued in the customer’s name, the credit note can be used at the customer’s discretion, it will not have an expiry date. Only the amount of the items ordered will be credited, taxes will be deducted from the new order.

Shipping charges paid by Canada-k9.ca to Canada Post, as well as the taxes associated with them, are not refundable.

* A maximum of two free returns are allowed per order. Any excess returns will be at the customer’s expense.

FOR ALL THE PRODUCTS :

Canada-k9.ca reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the following conditions:

  • Packaging must be returned with all documentation (instruction booklet, etc.);
  • Items must be in resalable condition;
  • Damaged labels, cut cords or bitten goods and any soiled goods will be refused.

FOR CBD PRODUCTS :

  • For any damage in transit, contact us to open a claim.
  • Products with broken security seals will be refused.

FOR NUTRITIONAL PRODUCTS AND SUPPLEMENTS:

  • For any damage to the glass jars during transport, please contact us to open a claim file.
  • Products with broken security seals will be refused.
  • The outside of a glass jar that has been soiled by the contents of another jar that has leaked is not considered a defective product, as the contents are still comestible.
  • Treats; biscuits, hemp treats and dehydrated fruit are not returnable, for safety and hygiene reasons.

FOR CARE AND HYGIENE PRODUCTS:

  • For safety and hygiene reasons, these products cannot be returned.

****Please note that all the above mentioned clauses apply only to purchases made through the Canada-k9.ca transactional site. This does not apply to products purchased in a shop or through a reseller.

GENERAL POLICIES

The data necessary to process commercial transactions is recorded and may be transmitted to partner companies (e.g. Canada Post) when processing the order.

By ordering an item from our catalogue, you agree to our policies and the commercial approach we have adopted to carry out transactions with you and to send you the goods.

Due to the complexity of managing e-commerce and its components, Canada-k9.ca expects that order processing and delivery should not exceed 10 business days. However, there may be delays beyond our control (due to the manufacturer, overseas shipping, customs, or Canada Post) that may prevent us from meeting these deadlines. In this case, we apologize and do our best to ensure your satisfaction. Please contact us if you find that the 10 working days deadline has been exceeded.

It is also possible for orders consisting of more than one item to require additional time. In fact, the order will not be shipped until all items in the order are in stock. In this instance, you will be advised of the delay.

LEGAL NOTICES
